MAG7B ORDER WIRE TELEPHONE SET - An extremely rugged, water resistant, portable telephone set for private, point-to-point communications over any bidirectional two-wire circuit or unidirectional four-wire circuit. It has both visual and aural indication of incoming calls with provision for disabling the audible ringer, or decreasing its volume, when required. It may also be used as a receive-only telephone on any standard switched telephone line. It will accept, or generate, standard 20Hz or in-band 1kHz ringing signals, making it compatible with any type of telephone set. The approximately 1kHz ringing signal, being in the audio passband, will pass through repeaters, amplifiers and other equipment to the instrument at the receiving end of the line. Connections are made to either a terminal strip or panel mounted jacks. Hands free operation is possible with any standard headset. The unit is powered by standard D cell batteries or the optional MAG7B-9 AC operated power supply.
EA250A EQUALIZING AMPLIFIER - A combination amplifier equalizer providing both positive and negative low frequency equalization and high frequency equalization at 5kHz, 8kHz or 15kHz with variable amplitude and "Q". Both input and output are transformer balanced with selectable impedance between 150 and 600O. One additional 600O and one 150O output are also supplied. The unit occupies one space in any of several industry standard frames, the Tellabs type 10 or 248 series and Wescom 400 series. Controls are recessed and screwdriver operated with bantam jacks supplied on the input and output for line, equipment and output monitor. The unit may be powered from any DC source from -21 to -56 Volts.
MT263 TRANSFORMER MODULE - A unit containing either one, two, three or four high quality transformers for matching and/or isolation. The input and output impedance of each is selectable between 150 and 600O by printed circuit mounted jumpers. It occupies one space in any of several industry standard frames, the Tellabs type 10 or 248 series and Wescom 400 series.
EQ284 PHASE DELAY EQUALIZER - A module providing phase delay to correct for phase differences between the two channels of a stereo circuit. Continuously adjustable phase correction, up to 180 degrees at 20kHz, is available. Both input and output are balanced with an impedance of 600O, which may be internally selected to 150O. Both the input and output are equipped with line and equipment bantam jacks for test and alignment purposes. It occupies one space in any of several industry standard frames, the Tellabs type 10 or 248 series and Wescom 400 series.
TS2200A AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE HYBRID - A fully automatic telephone hybrid in an exceptionally economical, compact package. The analog audio circuitry and line matching is micro-processor controlled for total simplicity of operation. No adjustments of any kind are required. The circuitry achieves the optimum telephone line balance and amount of caller gain possible, depending only on the quality of the incoming line. No audio switching occurs, allowing full-duplex transmission and the possibility of verbal interjection. Thus, permitting natural conversation, not possible with switching type systems. Connection to and disconnection from the telephone line is controlled by a front panel switch or by loop current detection from an external switch. A reset switch is provided for those occasions when a re-match of the line is desired. Both of these functions may be remote controlled. The unit is also equipped with a fully protected line holding coupler, transformer balanced audio input and output and an AC operated power supply. An input is also provided for the injection of DTMF dialing or control tones. The TS2200A may be used on a "dry" audio line as well as a standard telephone line. Up to three units may be mounted in one unit of a standard 19 inch rack with the available rack mounting adapter.
ST2613 SPECTRUM TRANSLATOR TRANSMITTER - A portable unit in a very compact, lightweight, rugged case providing subjective 5kHz program line quality from a standard voice grade telephone line in conjunction with the ST2616 receiver. The audio spectrum is shifted upward for transmission, gaining one octave at the low frequency end and incurring only a small loss at the high end. The unit accommodates both microphone and line inputs, is equipped with a built-in line holding coupler, is supplied with an AC operated power supply, can be operated from a variety of 12 Volt DC sources and, with the optional acoustic coupler, can be used with any telephone.
T2616 SPECTRUM TRANSLATOR RECEIVER - A compact unit in a lightweight, rugged case providing subjective 5kHz program line quality from a standard voice grade telephone line in conjunction with the ST2613 transmitter. The unit restores the audio to its correct frequency after being shifted upward for transmission. It is powered from the AC line and is small enough to fit beneath a standard telephone set.
JF9000 SERIES JACKFIELDS - A comprehensive range of jackfield assemblies utilizing high-grade, TRS type, long-frame telephone jacks accepting 310 type plugs. They are available in single or double rows of 20 or 24 jacks mounted on a panel machined from thick, high-grade phenolic with steel end mounts for standard 19 inch equipment racks, where they occupy 1¾ inches (1 RU) of vertical space. Single row, 24 position, jackfields are available with a heavy-gauge steel panel, with or without a hinge on one end, utilizing a machined phenolic jack mounting and insulating spacer occupying 1¾ inches of space in a standard 19 inch equipment rack. Double row, 48 position, metal panel jackfields, occupying 3½ inches (2 RU) of space are also available. Triple row, phenolic panel, jackfields are available in rows of 25 jacks for 19 inch rack mounting and in rows of 32 jacks for 23 inch rack mounting. All are equipped with all-length designation strips and a full range of adapters is available for center or flush mounting in either 19 or 23 inch racks. They are available unwired or wired, with low - loss shielded cable to "christmas tree" type terminal blocks. A full range of swivel mounting brackets and rack mounting bars is available for these blocks.
